Welcome to Humans in the Loop, hosted by me, Seb Knox-Eartoft. Today’s episode is a conversation with Sam Stevenson, the co-founder of Granola AI. Granola is an AI powered note taker that’s had a huge amount of growth in its early days, attracting over 60 million in VC investment and becoming one of the UK’s standout success stories in AI product building. I wanted to get Sam on partly because I just love the product. It’s something that I use every day, but also because As a designer, know that Sam spends a lot of time thinking about the experience of using AI products and the interface with them. We covered plenty of ground in this conversation, but of particular interest for me were Sam’s thoughts around designing with human agency in mind. So without further ado, I hope you enjoy.
